Ch Sambhajinagar, 21st September 2024: A significant milestone was achieved in the realm of Indian education with the successful organization of the “Manthan” National Seminar on Indian Knowledge System (IKS). Jointly hosted by Prerna Foundation and MIT Institute, Ch Sambhajinagar, the event brought together eminent scholars and experts to delve into the rich heritage of Indian knowledge and explore its integration into contemporary education.

The seminar was graced by the presence of Dr Manish Joshi, UGC Secretary, who inaugurated the proceedings. The esteemed chief guest was the Vice-Chancellor of Dr BAM University. A distinguished panel of experts, including Dr Jogendrasingh Bisen, Acharya Shreyas Kurhekar, Mr Bijay Upadhyay, Dr Vijay Fulari, and Dr Mazhar Farooqui, shared their invaluable insights and experiences, shedding light on the multifaceted aspects of IKS.

The seminar focused on the critical theme of integrating IKS into mainstream education. The participants were captivated by the thought-provoking discussions and presentations that explored the potential of IKS to enrich the learning experience and foster a deeper understanding of Indian culture and heritage.

To commemorate this significant event, Prerna Foundation published a comprehensive book of research papers titled “Prerna Pravah.” This publication serves as a valuable resource for researchers, educators, and students interested in exploring the vast and diverse field of Indian Knowledge System.
